LT - LAUNCH / PORTUGAL

Landscape Together’s first activity will occur in Portugal from June 2nd to 4th. It will gather 45 participants, including representatives of international entities, local inhabitants and associations, and the National Culture Centre in an event launching the project throughout the 5 municipalities. Landscape Together aims to promote the inner central region as an international destination for contemporary art by implementing several cultural and artistic projects of the MEP (Museu Experimenta Paisagem) for a duration of four years.

The cultural heritage, and in particular, the shared intangible heritage is a link that structures Landscape Together, with the analysis of the geographic and cultural landscape of the 8 cultural itineraries to be accomplished by the three schools of the Instituto Politécnico de Castelo Branco (Applied Arts, Agrarian and Education) and with the 5 municipalities of Proença-a-Nova, Oleiros, Sertã, Pedrógão Grande and Idanha-a-Nova.
